A little late, but still worth a comment: I attended the first meeting of the Drupal for NGOs group organised by Rob Purdie and graciously hosted by Amnesty International. This was the first Drupal user group and indeed first techie user group of any sort that I have attended. I am not sure why I have waited so long, as it was a brilliant experience.
