For those of you who read Swedish...

One of my recent projects with Wolfstar has just launched. Sam Oakley and I have developed a Drupal based social media newsroom (SMNR) for Philips.

We will be creating SMNR's for the other countries in Scandinavia over the next few months. When the dust has settled, I will publish a technical write up of how we did it and the design decisions we made.

Dropbox just works.

For the last month I have been experimenting with a remote folder synchronisation service called Dropbox to help me with my increasingly nomadic working life. I work for a charity for some of my week and for a PR company for the rest of my time, doing both across a number of offices and home. This provides me with some conundrums when moving my work as digital files, not least of which is that I run OS X at home and Windows XP almost everywhere else.  read more »

A Quick Test from ScribeFire

This is a brief test post. I have just install the ScribeFire plug in to the wonderful version 3 of Firefox. The objective is to make blogging more straight forward. I can now blog from within my browser, without having to navigate my way through the 'Create Content' interface of Drupal.

Drupal for NGOs

A little late, but still worth a comment: I attended the first meeting of the Drupal for NGOs group organised by Rob Purdie and graciously hosted by Amnesty International. This was the first Drupal user group and indeed first techie user group of any sort that I have attended. I am not sure why I have waited so long, as it was a brilliant experience. There where fifty or so attendees, including several who' phoned in' from as far as New York.  read more »
