Creating themes for Drupal 6 can be an involved process, not least because you have to declare a number of important aspects of the theme in an [theme_name].info file. Not complicated (when you have done it a couple of times) just a little tedious. read more »
Jolicloud is Apple enough for me.
My little blue Aspire One has been in the menders - a battery problem cured by a Bios upgrade apparently - or so the nice people at John Lewis said. As I don't use a netbook that often, it was not too inconvenient to be without for two weeks. Or rather it would not have been had not my invite to the private alpha of Jolicloud OS not come through. read more »
A game changer?
This post by Dries Buytaert caught my attention. Google has announced that it is going to embrace (therefore drive mass adoption of) some of the ideas of the semantic web through the introduction of rich snippets. read more »
An Interesting Contrast
A couple of projects that have come my way in the last month are offering two different approaches to solving the same business problems. Both require a small office staff to have access to applications and other resources that one might need to run a small business, however, it is all different from there on in. read more »
For those of you who read Swedish...
One of my recent projects with Wolfstar has just launched. Sam Oakley and I have developed a Drupal based social media newsroom (SMNR) for Philips.

A Quick Test from ScribeFire
This is a brief test post. I have just install the ScribeFire plug in to the wonderful version 3 of Firefox. The objective is to make blogging more straight forward. I can now blog from within my browser, without having to navigate my way through the 'Create Content' interface of Drupal.
Drupal for NGOs
A little late, but still worth a comment: I attended the first meeting of the Drupal for NGOs group organised by Rob Purdie and graciously hosted by Amnesty International. This was the first Drupal user group and indeed first techie user group of any sort that I have attended. I am not sure why I have waited so long, as it was a brilliant experience. There where fifty or so attendees, including several who' phoned in' from as far as New York. read more »
